abstract In this paper was presented examples of numerical modeling properties of construction materials by using a FEM and an example of a part of helicopter blade construction (hybrid structure). Numerical analysis, which was carried out, have had an issue to assign a state of strain construction and to define reduced stress pattern in basic elements in thin-walled load carrying structure. A numerical tool, which was using, was a program Abaqus/Standard. It was possible to modelling a different kind of materials in this case of composites and to run calculations with allowing for geometric and physics non-linear problems. This paper was shown a way of modelling material properties in complex structures with composite elements. It was allowed to carry out degree analysis in deformations and efforts in construction of external load conditions complex. Numerical calculations were given to identify a character of loads in different parts of blade construction. The results were shown, that the most effort elements of the structure were elements, which were made of composites especially the elements of spar and skin. However a filling of materials in an area where the low level of stresses was received, realized only a role in stiffening of blade structure. Numerical calculations represents a new approach to process of projecting and analysis in aviation load carrying structure, which are made of a hybrid materials.
