abstract In this article the results of investigations of dynamical, thermal properties and structure of PA 6.6/glass fibre composite were presented. Determination of the influence of ultraviolet radiation ageing and frequency on dynamical properties of polyamide 6.6 composite is the aim of this work. DMTA method was used to determine the influence of a ultraviolet radiation ageing on dynamical properties of polyamide 6.6 composite. Using this equipment, dynamical properties of polyamide 6.6 composite in relation to the temperature and frequency were determined. Analysis of the influence of temperature and frequency on the storage modulus and loss tangent has been performed. The samples were bended with a frequency 1 Hz and 10 Hz in a temperature range from –50 to 160°C and a heating rate 2 K/min. The increase of the value storage modulus for PA 6.6 with content of 25% of glass fibre addiction after ultraviolet radiation ageing was observed. The highest value of the storage modulus for PA 6.6/glass fibre composite was obtained 7341 MPa. For the sample of PA 6.6/glass fibre composite after ultraviolet radiation ageing the highest value of the storage modulus was obtained 8130 MPa. The similar dependence was obtained for a frequency 1 Hz and 10 Hz. With the increase of the temperature, the storage modulus decreases. It was found, that after ultraviolet radiation ageing increase value of tgδ. Investigations of crystallization degree by means of DSC method as well as investigations of the structure using optical microscope have been conducted. The DSC investigations prove the increase in the crystallization degree of PA 6.6/glass fibre composite for the samples after ultraviolet radiation ageing.
