abstract Processes of repairs and of productions of manufactured product with apply a coating be glad recognition among engineers. During voyage lots of repairs are carried out onboard vessels. The welding technology of applying alloy and composite and intermetallic coatings is very common. In this paper the technology of thermal spraying of composite metal-ceramic and alloy and intermetallic coatings was presented. It is a simple technology and a very useful one in ship machinery repairs during voyage (e.g. internal combustion engines, torque pumps, separators). The composite coatings were obtained by powder flame spraying. The thermal spaying coatings are characterized by great surface roughness. The thermal spraying nickel-based alloy coatings are used in a variety of applications: as bond coats for thermal barrier coatings on turbine components, as restorative layers for machine parts, as bond coats in internal combustion engine cylinders, for corrosion protection of boiler tubes and in numerous other applications requiring wear-, high temperature- and corrosion-resistant surfaces. The compo-site Ni-Al-Al2O3 coatings the development of new specific solutions for each types of engine. The NiAl and Ni3Al intermetallic have found widespread applications as high-temperature structural material due to their high melting point, low density, good thermal conductivity and excellent oxidation resistance. The NiAl and Ni3Al coatings were obtain by plasma spraying. Coatings with improved corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance were also developed and are available now. A brief overview on other applications of thermal spraying in the many industry will be given also. The nickel-based alloy coatings and the composite Ni-Al-Al2O3 coatings and the intermetallic NiAl and Ni3Al coatings was plastic working was proposed. The coating subjected to plastic working gained a more homogeneous structure as most of the pores, which had occurred after flame spraying, were closed. The influence of strain intensity on parameters of bearing area curve at the nickel-based alloy and composite and intermetallic coatings was determined. It carry experimental research for three relative draft 18%.
