abstract Use of surface composite alloy layers permits onto obtain a lot of casts properties, also usable. In order to presentation of formation mechanism of alloy layers we present in introduction part of real executed experiment on sphere casting model (Fig. 1). Figure 2 shows influence analysis of individual variable factors. Figures 3 and 4 show macro- and microstructure of choose area. In order to confirmation of conclusions from real experiment, apply SIMTEC - 3D computer program to determine process of formation alloy composite layer on casts. Figures 5-10 show next stages of virtual experiment. On the basis of made investigation it were been possible to affirm: for optimum executing conditions of surface composite alloy layers on casts steel, which come into being from liquid state, most important relationships are between cast solidification module and temperatures parameters of liquid metal and have make allowances all different described technological and metallurgical conditions.
